How to create a class in the Classroom Manager

🔔 Reminder: You only need to create a new class if this is your first year using Innovamat or if it is a 6th-grade class. If the class was already created in previous school years, you just need to link yourself as a teacher to avoid duplicate classes and student users.

ℹ️ Important: If you need to create multiple classes at once, this article explains how to import users and classes in bulk using CSV files.

The process for adding a new class depends on your profile in the Classroom Manager. Below, we explain the steps to follow based on your role.

If you have an administrator or owner profile

Follow these steps to add a new class:

1. Go to the "Center" section on the main screen of the Classroom Manager.

2. In the left-side menu, click on "Class List."

3. Click on the "Add Class" button (top right corner) and select "Create New Class."

4. Enter the class name, grade level, class schedule, and choose an avatar image for the class.

5. Once all fields are completed, click "Create."

🎉 Done! The new class will be automatically added to the class list.

If you have a teacher profile

Follow these steps to add a new class:

• If you already have linked classes: Go to the "My Classes" section, click "Add Class," and then select "Create New Class."

• If you don’t have any linked classes, follow these instructions:

1. Click "Start".
2. Select the grade level.
3. In the class selector, check if the class you want to create is already registered. If it is not, click the "Add Class" button (top right corner) and select "Create New Class."
4. Enter the class name, grade level, class schedule, and choose an avatar image for the class.
5. Once all fields are completed, click "Create."

🎉 Done! The new class will be automatically added to the class list.
