What is the Training Zone?
The Training Zone is a space where each student can practice content they find more challenging. In other words, they will reinforce those activities that, based on class work, are identified as not yet mastered. Thus, when it is time for weekly classroom practice, the student will be able to approach it with greater confidence.
This is a good space for students to complete activities at a slower pace or even with the support of an adult.
And what happens when they have completed these activities, or have no activities to reinforce? In this case, the application will suggest extension activities so that they can further improve their knowledge level.
How does the Training Zone work?
When they access it, they may encounter two possible situations:
A) The student does have activities to practice
In this case, a maximum of eight activities will appear on the screen, which the student can select to practice. Once an activity is completed, it will disappear from view so the student can choose the next one.
When all are completed, and if more activities are available, a “Refresh” button will appear to show the next suggested activities. If no more activities are available, it will display the message from case B.
B) The student does not have activities to practice
In this case, a message will appear informing that there are no activities to practice. This means that the student is up to date and has successfully completed all assigned activities.
If you want the student to continue practicing, or the teacher has indicated a specific activity to work with, you can access more activities from the Applet List. All existing activities classified by course and content block will appear in this list.
Where is the Training Zone located?
Students can access this area in two ways:
1. When students access the app from home (if the student completes the weekly practice at school), they will see the Training Zone directly, as shown in the image:
In this case, the teacher sets up a limited time per week.
2. When they access the app from the city, upon completing two practice sessions, this space (the running tracks) within the district is enabled:
